Solution

Visual

Redesign the website with the inspiration of the swiss Design Style. Apply new color and grid system. Refreshed typography and updated interface styles.

User Experience

Rebuild the user path and hierarchy of the course information, prioritize the “assignment submission” session, with only one drag and click to the upload and submit. Add an editable task management section to help students stay organized

By creating a task based interface showing the due time, also has a direct navigation to import tasks without diving deep into the content.

After serval iterations, I decided to remove all other buttons, and just keep the dropboxes on the main page so that students can submit their assignments with just one click, minimizing the steps required in this process.

I am building a task based interface that has all incoming tasks for next few days showing, also showing the nearst tasks as highlighted , so it will pretty eye-chatching for the user, user can have s clear understanding with what they need to do immediately at one glance.

In addition to prioritized their assignment, this page also allowed user to subitt there task just one click with drag and drop, so they can import tasks in a super efficient way without diving deep into the content.

I also tried different ways to make the best combination for the drop boxes part, and I decided to use different colors to show the most urgent tasks and other tasks.
