ABOUT
Bed Bath & Beyond college is made for college students, is mainly focused on helping people who live together to create a collaborative shopping list that allows people to vote for shared items split costs track their spending and purchase to stay within everyone's budget.

CONTEXT
People are moving and changing environments when they go to college and they will have new friends and roommates, oftentimes they need to buy some stuff for their dorm or apartment together.
Problem
We found that most of the students will have roommates once they enter college life. People will meet difficult things such as: having purchased duplicate household products, being unable to separate the common cost clearly, hard to track how much they spend.
PROMPT
Create a new collaborative shopping experience that engages the college community.

Vote For Common Items
Users can see every other group member's added item and decided if they need the same thing too, they can scroll to add to their cart or skip, they will share the cost with the items added by multiple users.

Common shopping list
A collaborative shopping list shows items picked by multiple users together, with color dots representing each user in the group, people can have a clear view of the major list and what they need to pay, and they can select and pay for their part, also can edit the quantity or remove the vote here.

Spending Split
They can easily know how to split and how much everyone should pay for a single item by swinging the dial.

Track Spending
Recording each payment for everyone in the group, allows them to stay within their budget and can easily see everyone’s contributions here.

Simple & modern font that reflects boldness was used. The primary colors were chosen to bring the brand of Bed bath and Beyond to the interface, increasing identification. Other colors on the page also represent playfulness and a sense of delight to the user.
